As part of strengthening media and cultural cooperation, the President of the Captain Fareed Foundation for Space and Aviation Sciences visited the headquarters of Al-Sabah Newspaper, where he met with the Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Ahmed Abdulhussein, and Dr. Waleed Farhan.

During the meeting, both parties discussed opportunities for collaboration and agreed to launch a weekly opinion column written by Captain Fareed. The column will be published every Monday on the newspaper's Opinions page, with the aim of promoting knowledge, public awareness, and thoughtful discussion on scientific, humanitarian, and social issues.

NGO Department participates in ceremony of launching first civil society organization concerned with space research and artificial intelligence

The Non-Governmental Organizations Department in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers participated in the ceremony of opening the first civil society organization concerned with space research and artificial intelligence, as part of its endeavor to revitalize the academic sector and advance society according to scientific foundations.

In his speech during the launching ceremony of the Captain Fareed Foundation for Space Development and Research, the Director General of the NGO Department, Mr. Ashraf Al-Dahan, affirmed the Prime Minister’s government’s support for innovation and capacity building. He pointed out that his department seeks to benefit from successful experiences in the field of space, digital education, and artificial intelligence, aligning that with the needs of the labor market, and supporting ideas that add value to the national economy.

Al-Dahan called on those in charge of the institution to support those with creative minds and play the right role in entrepreneurship and building expertise.
